Finally it’s cold enough in South Texas to run comfortably (i.e. without my head exploding), and eat soup!!
My husband made a delicious soup with butternut squash, lots of veggies, broth and white beans. He adapted the recipe found here.
And seriously, how awesome is this soup-and-cracker bowl!?
Last night, we actually turned on our heater for the first time. And running has been a joy! Three more days until our big trail race and we’re expecting great, cool temps.
So excited that South Texas weather is catching up with the rest of the country!
The cutest soup bowl….perfect weather here for soup!!! Yum!!
I got it from a friend’s son’s school fundraiser and this was the perfect opportunity to break it in!
I’m so happy you liked the soup! 🙂 Cheers!
We did! I’m the “finder” of the recipes and my husband is the cook. So glad you posted it for us to discover 🙂
that is a seriously awesome little soup bowl! my husband and I are getting into homemade soups as well – and we’re the same way, I find them and he cooks.
I could eat soup every day, even in the summer. One of my coworkers always asks me how I can eat soup when it’s so hot outside and I tell her “I’m not eating it outside!” haha there’s just something about soup that is comforting. And I love how you (or our husbands) can change up a recipe to make it work for us!
Ok I need that soup bowl..
Haha I got it from a friend’s son’s school fundraiser and I threw away the box so I don’t even know who makes it – BUT I just went on Pinterest right now and searched for “soup and cracker bowl” and it came up with some awesome varieties!
I love it, so cute!
Yum! That really is the best soup bowl ever!
